Discretion is part of collecting.
Effective 23 August 2026. This notice explains how ZINE may use information provided through enquiries, future accounts, bidding, acquisitions, consignments and registry services.
01Information collected
Contact details, identity and verification records, enquiry messages, interests, saved works, bidding and transaction history, consignment information, delivery details, device data and site interactions may be collected when relevant.
02Why it is used
To respond, personalize discovery, conduct diligence, administer auctions and sales, arrange payment and insured delivery, maintain object records, prevent fraud, meet legal duties and improve the service.
03Collector graph
ZINE may infer collecting interests from the artists, materials, price ranges and works you view, save, enquire about, bid on, acquire or consign. This supports relevant recommendations and advisor service.
04Sharing
Information may be shared with artists, sellers, specialists, payment and identity providers, insurers, shippers, storage partners, professional advisers and authorities only as needed for the stated purpose or law.
05Registry confidentiality
Object history may be preserved without publishing a collector’s identity. Public registry fields and confidential ownership fields are separated according to the relevant agreement.
06Retention and security
Records are retained for service, provenance, legal, fraud-prevention and archival needs. Appropriate technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no system is completely risk-free.
07Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion or marketing opt-out where applicable. Some transaction, provenance and legal records may need to be retained.
08Contact and updates
Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Privacy questions may be sent through Collector Advisory.
