Why this collection exists

The conditions are not behind the work. They are inside it.

At Zero Point, altitude and extreme cold entered the colour chemistry. In Lachung, glass, natural window light and early-morning stillness became physical layers in the photographs.

ZINE preserves the visible image with the original material, camera, film, print process, edition rule, creation story and a provenance record that starts at birth.

The ZINE edition rule

Scarcity is registered before release.

Unique instant photographs remain unique. They will not later become commercially numbered print editions.

Medium-format works exist only in their registered edition of three, plus one permanently non-sale ZINE Archive Proof.

No new sizes, unregistered artist proofs or equivalent commercial reproductions are introduced after an edition opens.

Original negatives remain preserved independently and do not transfer with a collector print.

Collector note: ZINE does not promise financial appreciation. A ZINE acquisition is offered as a documented work of human authorship, physical process and cultural memory.
